About the role

We are growing our New York City team and seeking a dynamic Business Development Representative to drive lead generation and fill our sales funnel as we build our go-to-market function from the ground up. This role is crucial for generating revenue in our next phase of hypergrowth. Operating in a hybrid environment, our BDR team offers fantastic earning and career growth potential. Responsibilities

  • Generate Opportunities: Create 2+ new sales opportunities daily
  • Outreach Activities: Conduct 65+ outreach activities daily through email, phone, and social media
  • Research: Identify and prospect top automotive repair businesses
  • Coordinate Meetings: Arrange new business meetings with Account Executives
  • Collaborate: Strategize with sales leaders and team members on new business priorities
  • Track Activity: Maintain accurate records of sales activities using Salesforce and other tools
  • Sales Engagement: Overcome objections, pitch the Revv value proposition, and advance prospects through the sales process
  • Smooth Transitions: Partner with Account Executives to ensure seamless client handoffs

Requirements

  • Experience: 1-3+ years of sales experience in a high-growth startup environment (SaaS preferred)
  • Cold Calling: Proven success with cold calling, especially with SMB targets
  • Work Ethic: Strong determination to succeed and a proactive attitude
  • Coachability: Highly coachable with a love for team collaboration
  • Curiosity & Grit: Naturally curious and resourceful
  • Sales Tools: Familiarity with standard sales tools and openness to new technologies
  • Track Record: Demonstrated record of professional and academic success

What We Offer

  • Compensation: $70,000 (base) + $40,000 (commissions @ 100%-to-goal, uncapped) = $110,000+

The pay range for this role is:

70,000 - 110,000 USD per year (HQ 2024)
