About the Role

Revv is growing fast, and we are looking for an Accounting & Operations Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the Accounting & Operations function(s) at Revv, playing a key role in month-end close, AR/collections/order-to-cash, and driving efficiency through best-in-class accounting practices. You will work closely with the Controller and Accounting & Operations Manager to improve and document accounting, finance, and operational processes.


The ideal candidate will leverage SaaS tools to streamline workflows while also taking a hands-on approach to designing and implementing automation for financial and operational efficiencies. This role provides high visibility to the executive team and offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally with other departments.

Responsibilities

Financial Operations & Month-End Close

  • Act as the Manager’s #2 in the month-close process, maintaining workpapers and tracking progress to completion.
  • Assist in drafting business process narratives, accounting policy memos, and flowcharts to establish a strong control environment.
  • Support order-to-cash operations, working cross-functionally with customer success teams to enhance internal controls and processes.

Compliance & External Reporting

  • Assist the Controller and Manager in engaging with auditors, tax professionals, and external stakeholders for reporting, due diligence, and compliance.
  • Prepare and provision materials for monthly investor reporting, audit completion, and regulatory filings.

Process Optimization & Automation

  • Help upscale Revv’s Stripe and accounting ERP instances to improve collection management.
  • Collaborate with the Controller and outsourced operations team to automate procurement and AP functions using tools like Ramp.
  • Track and execute on compliance items such as taxation and business registrations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with teams across operations, finance, and engineering to implement efficiencies and develop proprietary tools for automation.
  • Offer innovative solutions to improve financial reporting and business workflows.

Qualifications

Professional Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in public accounting (Big 4 or regionally recognized firm) is preferred.
  • CPA certification is a plus, but not required.
  • Knowledge of ASC 606 and experience with the order-to-cash cycle is preferred.

Technical Skills & Attributes

  • High attention to detail and a commitment to governance, documentation (narratives, SOPs), and best practices.
  • Experience in designing, maintaining, and improving month-close and audit workpapers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify areas for automation and process improvement.
  • Proficiency in accounting ERPs, SaaS finance tools, and financial reporting systems.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate financial and operational processes to stakeholders.

Compensation

The compensation range for this role is $75,000 - $90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
