Revyse Careers

Director of Ops

Who We Are:

Revyse exists to help multifamily operators discover the best vendor partners, manage contracts and compliance, and reduce financial risk. Our AI-powered platform helps the industry turn vendor and supplier data into a strategic advantage. We are a fast-moving, early-stage tech company with a big vision. Founded by industry experts and financially supported by industry veterans - we're overhauling the relationship between operators and suppliers.

Who We’re Hiring:

Not your typical Director of Ops role - we need a process architect who gets energized by building sustainable solutions to complex problems. As Revyse scales, we're looking for someone who can create the operational infrastructure we'll need for the next stage of growth while staying hands-on in the details. This role is unique. You won't manage large teams or own delivery. Instead, you'll be our internal systems expert - the person who designs how work flows through our organization. You'll partner with Product, CX, and Leadership teams to build scalable processes that actually work in practice, not just on paper.

You're the Right Fit if You:

  • Get satisfaction from creating order without needing to control every step
  • Can see both the 30,000-foot view and the ground-level in detail
  • Have a track record of building operational foundations during high-growth phases
  • Thrive as a strategic individual contributor who influences through expertise, not authority
  • Love solving the unglamorous but critical problems that make everything else possible

The reality: This is a builder's role in the truest sense. You'll be creating processes from scratch, documenting systems that exist only in people's heads, and establishing the operational backbone that will impact how we scale. If you need existing playbooks to follow or prefer maintaining established systems, this role probably isn't for you.

What You’ll Do:

Financial Ops & Resource Planning:

  • Partner with Leadership on operational forecasting, track and optimize operational spend across departments
  • Ensure that we have robust processes for customer invoicing, payment processing, and tax compliance (sales, payroll, income)
  • Identify opportunities to modernize financial workflows (e.g., digital payments, automated invoicing, employee reimbursements)

People Operations & Compliance:

  • Optimize HRIS (Rippling) and benefits administration to scale with growth
  • Create and maintain employee policies, documentation, and compliance frameworks
  • Partner with legal/accounting teams to ensure smooth operations for remote workforce
  • Support scalable recruiting and onboarding processes

Data & Strategic Insights:

  • Track and optimize operational performance metrics
  • Create tools (reports, dashboards) that enable data-driven decisions across the organization
  • Help the Leadership Team think through reporting frameworks that surface key metrics for board meetings and business reviews
  • Coordinate audit requirements and responses, help manage data rooms

Legal & Compliance Operations:

  • Coordinate Terms of Service and policy updates as we launch new products, working with legal counsel
  • Maintain oversight of intellectual property matters (trademark applications, registrations)
  • Ensure all operational processes consider legal and regulatory requirements
  • Build compliance checkpoints into our standard operating procedures

Support Infrastructure:

  • Serve as CX’s operational right hand as we build the backbone for support (email, chat, call center) and rapidly scale our customer base
  • Drive the "boring but critical" stuff - administrative processes, compliance requirements, and operational tooling, coordinating with legal to ensure all support processes and documentation protect the company
  • Build sustainable backend processes that free up the CX team to focus on relationships, revenue activation, and delivery excellence

Cross-Functional Leadership:

  • Identify and close operational gaps between teams, tools, and processes
  • Lead initiatives that improve internal collaboration and operational efficiency
  • Serve as operational thought partner to CEO and Leadership Team

Culture Building:

  • Build the operational backbone that enables the company to scale smoothly
  • Plan and execute team offsites, culture initiatives, and key company moments
  • Create clear, actionable documentation that helps teams execute independently

What You Bring:

We’re less interested in pedigrees than we are in practical thinkers who get things done. That said, here's what typically leads to success in this role:

  • You can point to your past successes in building operational excellence. Somewhere around 5+ years of experience in operations, consulting, or scaling startups is a good benchmark, but not a hard and fast rule.
  • Strong systems thinking with the ability to see how all the pieces connect. You can zoom out to understand the big picture, then zoom in to fix the broken gear that's slowing everything down. You're equally comfortable in spreadsheets, legal documents, and process flows.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills. You can translate between legal, finance, product, and CX teams, making complex operational requirements digestible for everyone. You're the person who makes sure nothing gets lost in translation.
  • Deep understanding of what makes businesses run smoothly. You know modern tools (HRIS, ERPs, payment systems), but more importantly, you understand the underlying processes. You've seen what breaks when companies scale, and you know how to prevent it.
  • Experience with compliance, legal operations, or regulated environments. Not saying you need to be a lawyer, but you should be comfortable reading contracts, working with legal counsel, and understanding the implications of terms and policies.
  • Natural problem-solver who gets energized by complexity. You see chaos as a puzzle to solve, not a crisis to panic about. When everyone else sees an unsolvable mess, you see an opportunity to build something better.
  • Strong ability to influence without authority. You'll be partnering with our Leadership Team and company stakeholders, so you need to command respect through expertise and results, not org chart position.
  • Entrepreneurial operator mindset with a bias toward action. You don't wait for perfect information or permission – you identify what needs to be done and you do it. We know that building the plane while flying it isn't everyone's cup of tea, but if it's yours, let's talk!

Why Join Team Revyse:

  • You’ll help move our high-growth startup forward and shape how we scale.
  • Collaborative remote-forward work environment with a SUPER passionate and talented team. We love working hard on interesting projects.
  • You’ll be sitting at the crossroads of multifamily vendors and operators. Being able to bring the industry together and amplifying the good happening all around us is some seriously rewarding work.
  • Trust falls are part of our DNA. We don’t think it’s weird or awkward to care about our well-being at work - we value each other as individuals and are energized by the idea of understanding our colleagues on a deeper level.
  • Our leadership philosophy is to over communicate, always. We’re transparent about company goals and opportunities.
  • We believe that 100% of the organization should understand and be accountable to the vision and strategy. If we all know where it is we’re trying to go, it’s far easier to row the boat in unison.
