The Technical Writer will play a key role in documenting operational workflows, technical processes, and customer-facing materials. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, this role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure clarity, consistency, and usability of all documentation. The writer will work extensively with platforms such as Autotask, Asana, IT Glue, and Stella to support service delivery and operational excellence.
• Clear, consistent, and user-friendly documentation that supports internal operations and external client engagement.
• Improved usability and accessibility of technical materials across platforms such as Autotask, Asana, IT Glue, and Stella.
• Enhanced collaboration between technical and non-technical teams through well-structured content.
• Support for operational excellence by maintaining up-to-date, version-controlled documentation aligned with service delivery goals.
• Reduction in support queries and onboarding time through comprehensive knowledge base and training materials.
· Create and maintain documentation including SOPs, process guides, training manuals, and knowledge base articles.
· Collaborate with subject matter experts across operations, engineering, and project service delivery to gather and interpret technical information.
· Translate complex technical concepts into clear, structured content for internal and external audiences.
· Ensure documentation is aligned with operational tools including:
· - Autotask: Document service workflows and ticketing procedures.
· - Asana: Track and document project milestones and task dependencies.
· - IT Glue: Maintain structured knowledge base entries and asset documentation.
· - Stella: Capture operational insights and reporting outputs.
· Conduct peer reviews and edit content developed by other team members.
· Manage version control and maintain a centralised documentation repository.
· Support onboarding and training initiatives through instructional content.
· Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, English, IT, or a related field.
· Minimum 2 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in IT services or software environments.
· Strong written communication skills with attention to detail and clarity.
· Proficiency in documentation tools such as Microsoft suite of office applications, Confluence or SharePoint.
· Familiarity with Autotask, Asana and IT Glue is highly desirable.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously.
· Detail-oriented and highly organized.
· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Proactive mindset with a passion for clarity and usability.
· Comfortable working with remote and distributed teams.
