About Rhythms
We're building the world's first AI Operating System for organizations - transforming how teams work together through intelligent workflows and deep integrations.
Founded by proven entrepreneurs behind Chronus and Ally.io (acquired by Microsoft), we’ve raised a record-setting $26M seed round from top-tier investors including Accel, Madrona, and GreenOaks, earning GeekWire’s 2024 Deal of the Year.
Our platform uses multi-agent AI and deep integrations with tools like Slack, Teams, Jira, and Linear to streamline the entire team operating system — from meetings and KPI tracking to OKRs and strategic planning. We turn team activity into intelligent workflows, automate manual tasks, and help teams build a shared, growing organizational memory.
We're looking for a Product Designer to help invent how AI and humans collaborate at work. You'll share our obsession with solving real customer problems, especially as Rhythms evolves from strategic alignment tool to comprehensive operating system.
Why this role:
- Invent new ways of working: The playbook for AI-powered products is being written right now. If you're already experimenting with Cursor, prototyping with Claude, and spotting patterns in how new tools solve problems, you'll thrive here.
- Design for organizational intelligence: We're building software that understands how work actually happens across teams. You'll help figure out how to surface insights and enable actions in ways that feel natural and powerful.
- Shape a product that's defining its category: Our customers use Rhythms to run their entire operating rhythm. Making powerful enterprise software that people actually want to use every day is exactly the kind of problem we love solving.
- Work with people who care deeply about craft: Our team thinks about the whole system - how design, engineering, and product decisions connect to create real value for our customers.
In this role, you will:
- Build solutions, not just interfaces - Jump between Figma exploration, code prototypes, customer conversations, and system thinking to find what actually works.
- Ship continuously - Work shoulder-to-shoulder with engineers, testing ideas in production and iterating based on real usage, not hypothetical scenarios.
- Think in systems - Design for flexibility and power without sacrificing simplicity. Understand how different parts of the product connect and reinforce each other.
- Stay on the bleeding edge - When new AI tools drop, you're already trying them. When patterns emerge across products, you're connecting dots. Your curiosity directly improves what we build.
- Own problems end-to-end - You'll go deep with customers to understand their challenges, explore multiple solution paths, work with engineers through implementation, and stick around post-launch to ensure we actually solved the problem.
Your background looks something like:
- Experience shipping complex products that real customers depend on
- You work fluently in Figma and are excited to expand into designing with tools like Cursor because you understand that design increasingly means exploring solutions in their native medium
- You think in systems and workflows, not just screens and components
- Natural experimenter who's already using AI to accelerate design work
- You can articulate why design decisions matter for the business, not just users
- Track record of working in ambiguity and figuring out what to build, not just how
- You optimize for customer impact over portfolio pieces
As a person, you:
- Are fundamentally curious - about tools, products, design, and how organizations work
- Measure success by what ships and what it achieves
- Work from first principles when needed but leverage patterns when appropriate
- Want colleagues who push you to be better and whom you push in return
About the opportunity
We're building something transformative and we’re looking for designers who see AI as fundamentally changing their craft. We offer competitive compensation, meaningful equity, and the chance to define how design works in an AI-native company.
If you've been looking for a role where design means more than pushing pixels and where you can help build the future of work itself, we would love to hear from you.
