Why Rimsys?

Rimsys is at the center of digital transformation in the MedTech industry. We’re solving real-world problems that directly impact global health and patient safety. As we scale, we’re investing heavily in our platform, including new AI capabilities, developer experience enhancements, and high-value integrations. This is your opportunity to help shape a modern SaaS platform that drives meaningful impact for a highly regulated, high-stakes industry.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience building modern web applications, ideally utilizing Laravel and a front-end framework such as Vue.js or React.

What you'll do

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you’ll work closely with a cross-functional product team to build secure, performant, and intuitive features across the Rimsys platform. This role is ideal for self-starters who thrive in fast-paced environments and want to make an outsized impact. You will:

  • Build and scale features across our Laravel- and Vue-based platform, contributing to both the front-end and back-end
  • Influence architecture and make high-leverage technical decisions that drive scalability and performance
  • Contribute to platform evolution, including API-first development, multi-tenant infrastructure, and integrations with systems like PLM, ERP, and regulatory databases
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality software in iterative cycles
  • Drive engineering excellence, applying best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment
  • Mentor junior engineers and help cultivate a culture of ownership and continuous improvement

  • Experience delivering complex features end-to-end in a SaaS environment
  • A bias toward action—you move quickly, make informed decisions with incomplete information, and adjust course when needed
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving

Competencies

  • Ownership – takes initiative to deliver high-quality work without needing close supervision; follows through on commitments and holds themselves accountable
  • Problem Solving – able to analyze complex technical issues and develop practical, scalable solutions

  • Collaboration – works effectively with product managers, designers, and other engineers in a fast-paced, iterative environment
  • Adaptability – thrives in dynamic environments, comfortable navigating ambiguity and changing priorities
  • Mentorship – willing to share knowledge and support the growth of junior engineers

Preferred education and experience

  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack development, ideally with Laravel and Vue.js or React
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design, relational databases, and modern DevOps practices (e.g., CI/CD, containers)
  • Experience working in a SaaS environment with complex business logic and secure, multi-tenant infrastructure
  • Familiarity with compliance-driven industries or regulatory software is a plus
  • Bonus: Experience with tools like Confluent, Redpanda, Snowflake, or Prefect
  • Bonus: Interest or experience in AI-assisted development, developer portals, or workflow automation
