About the role

We are looking to add a Manager of Data Center Operations to our growing department.

As a Manager of Data Center Operations, you will be responsible for supporting the Sr. Director of Operations in the planning and execution of Miner deployment, Miner Uptime and other Operations projects as needed. Ensure that assigned Data Center Operations projects run smoothly from start to finish including receiving updates from Building Supervisors and Assistant Supervisors. Complete the day-to-day tasks involved in planning and implementing Miner deployment, like coordinating with vendors, monitoring budget spending and collaborating with other departments to find resources and more information as requested and order supplies as needed.

Essential Functions

Include the following but not limited to: 

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manager Data Center Operation promotes company culture while leading, developing, and growing high-performing data center teams.
• Planning and delegating the execution of Miner deployment, Miner Uptime and other Operations projects.
• Responsible for ensuring that assigned Data Center Operations projects run smoothly from start to finish.
• Collaborate with other departments to find resources and more information as requested.
• Coordinate with vendors, monitor and document budget spending.
• Receiving updates from Building Supervisors and Assistant Supervisors.
• Compile Operations performance for Weekly and Monthly reporting.
• Ensure inventory and supplies are available as needed.

Education and Experience 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Leadership abilities with excellent problem-solving and independent decision-making skills.
• Experience with Bitcoin and cryptocurrency mining and infrastructure preferred but not required.
• Microsoft Office proficient.
• Experience leading mid-large size teams.
• Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working successfully with cross-functional and decentralized teams in driving change and process improvements.
• Excellent time management skills, with ability to lead multiple projects, tasks and competing priorities.
• A hands-on “doer” who possesses an action orientation that leads to improved outcomes.
