Compensation Structure

  • Base Salary: $80,000
  • Annual Performance Incentive: $5,000
Position Summary
The IT Manager will oversee Riparian Holdings' IT operations and infrastructure, ensuring our IT systems' adequate support and management. This role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, managing hardware and software installations, and ensuring the reliability of our IT infrastructure. The IT Manager will also coordinate with third-party vendors and develop strategies for scaling IT support as the company expands.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support
  • Provide first-line technical support to employees, resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, networks, and printers/scanners.
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks to ensure optimal performance and security.
Vendor Management
  • Communicate and collaborate with third-party vendors to secure specialized IT support and services.
  • Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) with vendors are met and reviewed regularly.
System Management
  • Assist with setting up and configuring user accounts, including email and network access.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and updates of IT systems, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Ensure software licenses are current and necessary and recommend better options when applicable.
Documentation and Training
  • Maintain accurate documentation of IT procedures, system configurations, and support activities.
  • Provide training and support to employees on IT systems and software applications.
Project Management
  • Participate in IT projects and initiatives, contributing to the continuous improvement of the IT infrastructure.
  • Assist in configuring and optimizing both new and existing tools.
Planning and Team Development
  • Develop strategies for scaling IT support and potential team growth.
  • Oversee IT inventory management, ensuring the availability of necessary hardware and software.
  • Lead the recruitment, training, and development of future IT team members.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of best practices in building a scalable and high-functioning IT support organization.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in an IT support role, preferably in the property management or real estate industry.
  • Proficient knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft applications, including Office 365 setup and administration.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relay technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Experience in managing third-party vendors and ensuring compliance with SLAs.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement IT strategies and projects.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Knowledge of information security best practices and data protection regulations.
