Take onboarding, for example. With Rippling, you can hire a new employee anywhere in the world and set up their payroll, corporate card, computer, benefits, and even third-party apps like Slack and Microsoft 365—all within 90 seconds.
Based in San Francisco, CA, Rippling has raised $1.4B+ from the world’s top investors—including Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, Sequoia, Greenoaks, and Bedrock—and was named one of America's best startup employers by Forbes.

This role will embark on an adventure to the product horizon of the company, working on new products and features that enable businesses to scale and automate their operational processes. Research will join nascent teams at its inception, getting in on the ground floor and working with engineers, designers and product leads.
As a Product Research Lead, you will dive into the competitive landscape, define use cases and differentiators to inform our strategic bets. You will also inform the creation of new components to our platform that this product (and others) will leverage. We’re looking for a product-oriented thought partner who is passionate about building experiences that enable organizations to drive efficiency, meet goals and scale operations. This role will work closely with product and design leaders to (1) create a foundational understanding of the user ecology, workflows, processes and tools that make up this domain (2) derive product recommendations from these insights to inform the product roadmap and design approach for one of Rippling’s most strategic verticals.
Research is a growing practice situated in our Product Design team that supports strategic decision-making on key product initiatives. Our research team works closely with product designers, product managers and other cross-functional collaborators. We like to nerd out together, ask lots of questions and discuss in vivo codes.
Even if you don’t meet all of the requirements listed here, we still encourage you to apply. Skills can be used in lots of different ways and your life and professional experience may be relevant beyond what a list of requirements will capture.
