The Integrations team ensures Rippling’s native products can succeed in the market—regardless of existing gaps, by empowering customers to automate business processes outside of Rippling. Integrations provide a protective layer to Rippling’s success, plugging holes where gaps exist in domains (e.g., ERP, Email, FP&A, CRM systems) , segments (integrating with larger vendors as Rippling moves upmarket) , and geographies (integrating with top vendors for country launches).
Over time, Rippling’s approach to integrations will evolve beyond in-house development to support multiple personas building integrations, both within and outside Rippling. Integrations will be built directly within Rippling’s environment using Flux as the orchestration engine, empowering Rippling Developers, Customer Companies, Service Partners, and Software Vendors. There will also be integrations built externally using Rippling’s public Platform APIs.
Once integrations are built, the team focuses on a strong distribution ecosystem through four key components: a Vendor Portal for partners , an App Store for customers to discover, install, and manage integrations, with long-term monetization opportunities , In-App Purchases, and fostering a robust Integration Partner Ecosystem to connect customers with trusted partners. The future of the Integrations team is about scaling platform capabilities, expanding our partner ecosystem, and building a thriving marketplace for integrations and services.
