About the role


Benefits is one of Rippling's largest and most important product categories, and the Benefits Operations team is critical to getting companies enrolled in the right benefits. The team manages tens of thousands of enrollments every year.


Rippling is seeking an Operations Analyst to manage live EDI and API integrations with third-party partners across our Benefits ecosystem. In this role, you will configure, debug, and maintain client-level integrations while resolving enrollment and eligibility issues across multiple insurance carriers. This role requires close collaboration with carriers, customers, brokers, and internal teams, and has a direct impact on the accuracy, reliability, and scale of Rippling’s Benefits platform.

What you will do

  • Own end-to-end EDI and API integrations for Benefits, including carrier requirements gathering, file mapping, testing, post-production monitoring, and ongoing maintenance
  • Analyze carrier error reports, enrollment discrepancies, and transaction failures to identify root causes and drive timely resolution
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for insurance carriers, customers, and brokers on EDI/API-related issues
  • Partner with internal engineering and product teams to investigate integration issues and improve system reliability
  • Identify process gaps and drive operational improvements
  • Own productivity metrics and ensure adherence to SLAs

What you will need

  • 3+ years of experience in the U.S. Benefits industry, with experience at an insurance carrier, benefits administration platform, or in enrollment/member eligibility operations
  • Familiarity with EDI transactions and benefits enrollment data flows
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work across carriers, brokers, customers, and internal teams
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple implementations or issues simultaneously
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to accuracy and timely resolution

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to APIs or experience working alongside technical teams on system integrations
  • Prior experience supporting post-production integrations at scale
