Rippling is looking for a Technical Storyteller to help tell the most important technical stories behind what we are building as our product and engineering teams push deeper into AI.
This role sits at the intersection of writing, product strategy, technical storytelling, and executive communications. You will work closely with product and engineering leaders to understand what is genuinely novel, differentiated, or technically impressive about Rippling’s work, then turn those ideas into clear, compelling content for customers, investors, media, and the broader market.
The best person for this role is not just a strong writer. They are curious, technically sophisticated, and editorially sharp — someone who can spend time with engineers and product leaders, identify the story buried inside the details, and explain complex ideas without flattening them. You will be expected to proactively surface ideas, build an editorial rhythm, shape the narrative, and help Rippling get credit for the depth and ambition of its technical work.
You will partner closely with the CPO, Product Marketing, engineering leaders, and other executives to identify the right stories and ensure Rippling’s most important technical work is communicated with precision, credibility, and a clear point of view. Success in this role means being plugged into what is happening across the company, knowing which ideas are worth amplifying, earning trust with technical teams, and translating complex work into content that is sharp, interesting, and accessible to technical and non-technical audiences alike.
