About the role

Brand content, at its core, is memorable and provides intrigue and value to the audience. We’re looking for someone with the drive and creativity to build social, presentation, and other brand content that makes people take notice of Rippling and want to learn more.

This role will holistically own—and build—an impressive social media presence that drives organic traffic and directly influences pipeline. You will create content from scratch (think videos and executive presentations) and repurpose other content (think making bite-sized content from data reports or splicing podcast appearances into audiograms).

You will work with company leaders and executives to help build their presence both on social channels as well as through compelling presentations at industry events, owned and partner webinars, and customer conferences.

From day one you’ll work at lightning speed to understand our audiences and expand our reach through one-of-a-kind brand content that provides value to followers and sets them on a journey to learn more about how Rippling can take their department or business to the next level.

What you will do

  • Organic social. Create social content to reach business leaders (C-Suite, HR, Finance, and IT) across established channels like LinkedIn and test other channels.
  • Metrics. You’ll think strategically, taking our social presence from 1 to 100, and own social KPIs in their entirety. You’ll measure key metrics including brand visibility, engagement, web traffic from organic social, and pipeline influence.
  • Decks. Craft content for compelling presentations, both thought leadership and product-focused, for Rippling company leaders to deliver at industry events, customer conferences, and webinars. No need to have design expertise—we have that covered.
  • Content. Create new content and repurpose existing content for social including videos, blogs, testimonials, interviews, etc.
  • Messaging. Nail the right message with the right voice and tone in the right channel at the right time. You’ll make our brand voice more memorable, and some of your content will go viral.
  • Metrics. You’ll think strategically, taking our social presence from 1 to 100, and own social KPIs in their entirety. You’ll measure key metrics including brand visibility, engagement, web traffic from organic social, and pipeline influence.
  • Internal comms. You’ll present your social plan to get executive buy-in, play a key role in writing briefs for designers, and regularly report out to directors and executives on social metrics including reach, engagement, and audience growth.
  • Help build executive presence, primarily through social channels.
  • Collaboration. Work across teams, including Comms and Go to market, to create content that resonates for social media, presentations, and brand campaigns.

What you will need

  • 3-5 years of experience in social media, preferably with bold brands that you have played a role in growing. You know what works and push the limits of what is possible in those channels. Experience in content marketing is a plus.
  • Experience speaking with, engaging, with, and building rapport with executives.
  • Examples of how you’ve hacked a viral trend in your previous work.
  • Skill as a creator (video and written) and communicator (written and oral) that’s apparent in both the quality and quantity of your output.
  • Strong project management skills, including standing up programs from scratch and scaling them.
  • A test-and-iterate mindset, never settling for the status quo.
  • The drive of a self-starter with a keen interest to understand Rippling’s audience, both prospects and customers.
  • Metrics-driven with strong initiative and ability to work independently.
  • A passion for B2B social media and a keen eye for identifying upcoming trends.
