About the role

Rippling is looking for a highly skilled Revenue Operations and Strategy Manager to support our rapidly growing sales organization and territory operations function. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the day-to-day data operations within our territory management program, supporting broader revenue operations objectives and projects. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with senior members of the team and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the smooth functioning of our outbound territory operations motion. In addition to keeping our operations running smoothly, you’ll also have the opportunity to uncover insights, develop recommendations, and then implement programs to improve our sales organization. You ideally have worked in fast-paced environments before and are comfortable working as part of a team or independently. 

This role will be based in our San Francisco Office. 

What you will do
  • Collaborate closely with Sales leadership and Revenue Operations to understand and support the operational cadence of the business within specific territories.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of Rippling’s outbound territory build and account prioritization strategies.
  • Live on the front lines addressing field level territory questions, data discrepancies, and potential in region and segment disputes and resolutions
  • Work in partnership with cross-functional teams during annual planning processes to ensure our systems and data are aligned with capacity modeling, target setting, and scaled territory assignments 
  • Develop quantitative measures and qualitative channels to track the success and efficacy of approaches in deploying resources against different territory constructs.
  • Collaborate with revenue operations teammates to identify and implement systems and process improvements for the sales organization.
  • Responsible for upkeep and and data governance with territory system of record to mirror changes in headcount and future in region/segment territory needs
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of evolving outbound processes, methodologies, and expected outcomes.
  • Partner with revenue operations leadership to identify and analyze net new data sources that would contribute to new account prioritization efforts
  • Support in the analysis of data to provide insights into the performance of different territory strategies.
What you will need
  • 3+ years of professional work experience in Revenue Operations, Territory Operations, Field Operations, Sales Operations, Sales Strategy, Sales Finance, or another related field 
  • Able to work with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-moving startup or a hyper growth environment
  • Strong analytical, modeling, and conceptual problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent cross-functional stakeholder management 
  • Strong Microsoft Excel / Google G-Sheets skills, familiarity with BI Tools (Tableau) and some experience with SQL 
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce, familiarity with related Sales systems (Outreach, Gong, Zoominfo, and other data enrichment sources)
