About the Role

As a Sourcing Manager, you'll lead a team of Tech Sourcers to expand Rippling's R&D functions in North America. Your responsibilities include developing and executing sourcing strategies to attract top talent, improving data sets, and ensuring hiring targets are met. You'll guide your team in building candidate relationships, using technology for sourcing and screening, and collaborating with hiring managers and recruiters for a smooth recruitment process. This role is crucial for scaling our Talent Acquisition (TA) organization and achieving ambitious goals, making a significant impact on the business and sourcing efforts.

What You Will Do

  • You’ll manage an existing team of geographically dispersed technical, outbound sourcers, while fostering a strong team bond
  • Partner with Recruiting Leadership to align on hiring needs to best leverage sourcing focus and therefore impact. 
  • Analyze pass-through data to detect trends, derive insights, and adjust strategies to optimize top of funnel
  • Help drive data integrity and hygiene with the team to set us up for success in using data to inform and influence our overall sourcing strategy
  • Advise business leaders on innovative sourcing strategies utilizing external market insights and intelligence to influence how we think about building effective top of funnel
  • Help define and evaluate our sourcing metrics to continuously measure and improve team performance and productivity - staying on top of performance management and delivering consistent feedback
  • Act as part of the TA leadership team, and as such, participate in, and contribute, to overall TA initiatives, improvement, and leadership. 
  • Dive into some roles when capacity is stretched and business demand requires, including inbound coverage and exec search needs. 
  • Partner with the Biz sourcing manager to align on best practices to be leveraged across all Sourcers, as well as identifying function-specific needs that remain unique. 


What You Will Need

  • Minimum 8+ years total professional experience in Talent Acquisition
  • Proven impact as an individual contributor 
  • People Leadership experience, either directly via people management, or via mentoring and being a team SME, go-to leader. 
  • Desire and ability to build. Creative, move fast, execute. 
  • The ability to genuinely empathize with your team, while also setting a high bar for performance
  • Technology / Systems: ability to leverage existing technology to drive results, to manage performance, drive best practice data and reporting, and improve execution. 
  • A strong desire to work with data and sourcing metrics. The ability to turn data-driven ideas into action.
  • Reporting skills. Ability to use reports to tell a story and drive decisions.
  • A track record for successfully identifying and engaging exceptional tech talent and recruiting/sourcing talent. 
  • Innovative thinking and approaches. Always learning. Bias towards continuous improvement
  • Project management skills to drive bigger picture initiatives and changes, with multiple stakeholders, across the line. 
  • SME on the roles your team is focused on, either learned or come in with it

The pay range for this role is:

166,000 - 190,000 USD per year (US Tier 1)

149,000 - 171,000 USD per year (US Tier 2)
