About The Role

Rippling is seeking an Executive Assistant to support our leadership team. We are looking for an individual who can not only manage an executive's day-to-day operations but also proactively anticipate their needs and contribute to strategic initiatives. This isn't your typical executive assistant role; you'll be deeply embedded in our business, acting as a crucial thought partner and a driver of key projects.

This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment and is passionate about solving complex business problems. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our leadership's time is maximized and that strategic goals are met.

Please note, this role requires being in the San Francisco Office 3x per week.

What you will do

  • Strategic Time Management: Act as a gatekeeper and strategic partner to the executive(s), managing complex calendars and ensuring their time is allocated to the highest-priority business initiatives. You'll proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes and maximize efficiency, freeing up time for critical decision-making.
  • Project Leadership: Take ownership of strategic projects from ideation to completion. This includes defining project scope, coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing deadlines, and communicating progress to stakeholders.
  • Business Operations & Analysis: Prepare and analyze key business reports, presentations, and communications for internal and external audiences. You will attend strategic meetings, synthesize key takeaways, and ensure action items are clearly defined and executed.
  • Event & Travel Management: Oversee all aspects of domestic and international travel, high-stakes meetings, and company offsites, ensuring all logistics are meticulously planned and flawlessly executed.

Who you are

  • Strategic & Proactive: You're a forward-thinking problem-solver who doesn't just react to requests but anticipates needs and identifies opportunities for improvement. You possess a high degree of business acumen and a strong ability to connect daily tasks to long-term strategic goals.
  • Seasoned Communicator: You can navigate complex situations with grace and confidence. You possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build strong, trusted relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Operational Excellence: You have a proven track record of bringing order to chaos. You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
  • Creative Problem Solver: You are resourceful and relentless in finding solutions. You take ownership of challenges and are committed to seeing them through to the end.
  • Experience: You have 6+ years of experience in a similar strategic or operational role, preferably within a fast-paced, high-growth startup. You have a deep understanding of how to support senior leadership and have demonstrated an ability to take on increased responsibility.
