Rippling gives businesses one place to run HR, IT, and Finance. It brings together all of the workforce systems that are normally scattered across a company, like payroll, expenses, benefits, and computers. For the first time ever, you can manage and automate every part of the employee lifecycle in a single system.
Take onboarding, for example. With Rippling, you can hire a new employee anywhere in the world and set up their payroll, corporate card, computer, benefits, and even third-party apps like Slack and Microsoft 365—all within 90 seconds.
Based in San Francisco, CA, Rippling has raised $1.4B+ from the world’s top investors—including Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, Sequoia, Greenoaks, and Bedrock—and was named one of America's best startup employers by Forbes.
We prioritize candidate safety. Please be aware that all official communication will only be sent from @Rippling.com addresses.
About the role
Join us in founding a new team building AI-first products and experiences that will become core to how our customers manage and grow their businesses. As a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer, you’ll be one of the early members helping define the architecture, systems, and product experience. You’ll work closely with product, design, and other engineering teams to bring the products from idea to scale. This is a rare chance to own and influence a zero-to-one product, shaping the direction of both the technology and the user experience. We're looking for engineers who are comfortable with ambiguity, enjoy fast-paced development, and care deeply about building fantastic products that sit on top of reliable and reusable systems. This role will be part of Rippling’s core AI initiatives so an interest in the intersection of AI and UX is a plus.
This is an opportunity to build a product from the ground up: you’ll collaborate closely with design and product to take ideas from whiteboard to production, move fast in tight feedback loops, and make smart technical decisions that stand the test of scale. We're looking for someone who thrives in ambiguity, cares about the craft of software, and is excited to build systems that are both delightful to use and reliable under the hood.
You’ll have significant ownership, a voice in what we build and how we build it, and a chance to influence the foundation of something ambitious.
