About the Role
As a Sourcing Manager, you will manage a team of existing sourcers responsible for outbound sourcing across APAC. You will help execute and continuously improve sourcing strategies and data sets to ensure we hit our hiring targets.
The Sourcing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies to identify, attract, and engage top talent for the company. This role will require the manager to partner cross-functionally with our Head of Tech recruiting in India and our Head of Business recruiting in India to align on our sourcing strategy and ensure support for our high-priority positions. The sourcing manager will also work closely with the sourcing team in the US to ensure adequate coverage of inbound support.
You will help scale the TA org and sourcing engine and have big targets to hit, so this role will immediately impact the business and the sourcing team responsible for generating the pipeline.
What you will do
- You’ll manage an existing team of sourcers while fostering a strong team bond.
- Partner with recruiting managers to align on hiring needs to leverage the best sourcing focus and, therefore, impact.
- Develop creative strategies and messaging for engaging top-of-funnel talent across disciplines.
- Help drive data integrity and hygiene with the team to set us up for success in using data to inform and influence our overall recruiting strategy.
- Coach, mentor, and develop the team on best-in-class sourcing practices and strategies, aligning with the broader global sourcing strategy.
- Analyze pass-through data to detect trends, derive insights, and adjust strategies to optimize the top of the funnel.
- Advise business leaders on innovative sourcing strategies, utilizing external market insights and intelligence to influence how we think about building an effective top-of-funnel.
- Help define and evaluate our sourcing metrics to measure and improve team performance and productivity continuously.
- Act as part of the TA leadership team and participate in and contribute to overall TA initiatives, improvement, and leadership.
What you will need
- A minimum of 8 years progressive professional experience in Tech Recruiting.
- 2-3+ years of management experience, building and managing a sourcing or recruiting team.
- Experience collaborating with and partnering with virtual teams, preferably global teams.
- Desire and ability to build, move fast, and execute.
- The ability to genuinely empathize with your team – working alongside them to understand their work and areas of improvement.
- Ability to leverage existing technology to drive results, manage performance, drive best practice data and reporting, and improve execution.
- Strong data and report skills with a desire to work with data and recruiting metrics
- A track record for successfully identifying and engaging exceptional recruiting talent.
- Innovative thinking and continuous improvement approaches
- Project management skills to drive bigger-picture initiatives and changes with multiple stakeholders across the line
- Experience using Industry Leading recruiting tools and applicant tracking systems to identify and engage passive, qualified candidates
