About the Role:

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer on the newly launched Application Tracking System (ATS) (LI Post) product at Rippling, you would be responsible for delivering critical products in Rippling’s Talent strategy, enabling Rippling and its customers to hire for their teams.

Established last year, the team is responsible for building a world-class ATS that enables the next generation of talent products to scale. Within ATS, engineers operate an extensive platform that powers a large-scale user-facing application for the talent teams alongside a robust integration framework for our 3rd party partners.

As an engineer on the ATS team, you will be exposed to challenges ranging from rapidly launching new product lines (0->1) to scaling for massive growth and a wide array of engineering requirements. You’ll be working on defining, driving, and delivering the team's technical roadmap across the underlying services and the user experience at Rippling for the next five years and beyond.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and the business to create user-friendly features across the stack.

  • Produce quality software that is shipped incrementally and continually at a high velocity.

  • Have extensive ownership over various parts of the product.

  • Collaborate with fellow engineers across the organization to design features and help bring a high-quality product to market.

  • Interact with early customers and support them in being successful with the new product.

  • Provide thoughtful feedback to your peers, and benefit from strong mentorship yourself.

What You'll Need:

  • 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer.

  • Proficiency in one or more back-end server languages (Java/Ruby/Kotlin/Python, etc.) and web frameworks (Django, RoR, Spring, etc.)

  • Working experience with front-end concepts (HTML, CSS, TypeScript) and web frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, etc.)

  • Ability to assess technical strategies and create product solutions that can effectively solve real-world problems.

  • Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases operating at scale.

  • Experience in creating and expanding high-quality and high-traffic products or systems.

  • Ability to effectively align and manage projects while collaborating with stakeholders.

  • Experience with providing mentorship for junior developers within the team.

  • Passionate about efficiency, availability, system quality, and user experience.

Interesting problems this team will work on:

  • Reinventing processes of recruiting (entering scorecards, debriefs, job posts) with the use of generative AI and LLM’s

  • Deep-diving into time management and scheduling and building new ways to schedule interviews

  • Building Candidate Pools and allowing recruiters and hiring managers to find the best talent within their applicants.
