About the role


Rippling’s Marketing team has built the engine behind one of the fastest startup growth stories ever. We are rapidly launching new product lines and expanding globally, and the Marketing organization is scaling in line with this hypergrowth.


The Marketing Strategy & Planning team is the in-house Biz Ops function trusted to guide strategic direction, operational cadence, headcount planning, reporting, and investment decisions for Marketing to accelerate Rippling’s growth and ensure we continue to build a best-in-class Marketing function.


What you will do

  • Own the business line by deeply understanding Marketing performance and lead cross-functional initiatives to drive growth. You will help determine which products we invest in, which channels should we invest in, and how we can improve our marketing motion
  • Drive forecasting for quarterly & annual planning cycles; help us streamline processes and improve efficiency while building towards the forecasting rigor of a public company
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales and Finance teams to develop a company planning model by defining, operationalizing, and measuring our monthly targets to support global expansion and consistently grow ARR
  • Produce executive ready storytelling on performance against targets, by inspecting deeply into the business by segment, product line and country
  • Develop and orchestrate the internal operating cadence for a global Marketing team that facilitates quick decision-making and issue resolution
  • Drive stakeholder teams by incentivizing the correct outcomes/results. Hold teams accountable to execution by designing OKRs, dashboards and operating cadences

What you will need

  • 5+ years of experience in BizOps, Sales Strategy, Finance, Consulting
  • Experience in long-range planning cycles at prior B2B tech companies
  • A demonstrated track record of leading cross-functional projects with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and/or Operations teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management across executive audiences, with an ability to dive into the weeds to understand detailed business problems
  • Ability to distill complex data sets to simple solutions
  • High growth mindset
  • Extensive experience creating complex models (in spreadsheets)
  • Basic understanding of SQL (with an interest in learning)

A variety of factors are considered when determining someone’s compensation–including a candidate’s professional background, experience, and location. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed below.

The pay range for this role is:

96,000 - 168,000 USD per year (US Tier 1)
