About the Role
The Rippling Platform team is responsible for the products and frameworks that showcase the value of seamlessly integrating HR, IT, Finance, and third-party applications together into one unified platform. The team owns the foundational building blocks – like reporting, workflow automation, permissions, approvals, policies, search, notifications, and a unified data platform – that are leveraged across Rippling products. They also own end-user-facing products that leverage the unified data from these otherwise-fragmented business applications. As a Director of Product Design, you'll lead the Platform and Data Cloud teams while staying hands-on with key product initiatives. Your focus will be on creating a world-class platform that drives Rippling's compound-startup strategy. You'll guide your teams to design for diverse customer personas—supporting internal design teams building on the platform, while also crafting exceptional experiences for Rippling’s end users

This role will receive a competitive salary + benefits + equity. The salary for US-based employees will be aligned with one of the ranges below based on location; see which tier applies to your location here. A variety of factors are considered when determining someone’s compensation–including a candidate’s professional background, experience, and location. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed below.
The pay range for this role is:
180,000 - 315,000 USD per year (US San Francisco Bay Area)
