About The Role


In this highly visible role, you will be responsible for tackling complex, challenging, often ambiguous problems and driving real improvements to the business on behalf of the Executive team at Rippling. Acting as a liaison for our E-Staff, you’ll identify and define the larger product and operational problems and drive improvement to ensure successful resolution of complex customer issues. You are right for this role if you get energized by ownership and rapid growth. You understand that businesses need to deliver quality customer experience to be successful. You are not afraid to get your hands dirty to deliver outcomes for customers, and you thrive in intense situations. You are a talented generalist, confident in project managing cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders and are passionate about solving the whole problem. Working with great people is a non-negotiable priority for you because you excel on a highly collaborative and high-performance team. 



What you will do

  • Own end-to-end management of executive escalations: Become the expert and drive resolution of complex, interdependent problems. Project manage internal stakeholders to collaborate efficiently.Demonstrate control and leadership in intense situations. Explain complex scenarios with simple, clear and strategic written or verbal communications. 
  • Act as an Executive liaison: Execute on behalf of our Executive team. Instill trust while serving as the customer’s single point of contact and champion. 
  • Work cross-functionally with key Rippling stakeholders: Build strong working relationships across the company - from the executive team to product to engineering to support.
  • Analyze trends and root causes: Conduct thorough root cause analysis on each escalation to identify trends and drive effective process improvement. Share trends analysis with executive leadership.

What you will need

  • Have 2 - 4 years of experience in operations, consulting, banking or generalist role.
  • 1 - 2 years of previous experience in a fast-growth startup is a nice to have. 
  • Extremely driven and ambitious.
  • Have a solid track record of achievement - e.g. delivered quantifiable business impact, quickly assumed responsibilities, or won competitive awards.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced intense environment.
  • Can break complex problems into smaller, actionable solution steps and drive execution.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication in English.
  • Ability to partner cross-functionally with a sense of urgency.
  • Executive presence - you can talk to a CEO with poise.

The pay range for this role is:

96,000 - 168,000 USD per year (US Tier 1)

86,400 - 151,200 USD per year (US Tier 2)

81,600 - 142,800 USD per year (US Tier 3)
