About the role

At Rippling, Sales Development  is the Tip of the Spear and as a Sales Development Representative you help drive that spear in the right direction. You will be a part of teams with dynamic roles spanning across the whole spectrum of prospecting starting from being the best that is at Data research, mining & enrichment to supporting complex marketing activities. You will also be responsible to identify, contact and qualify prospective customers across specialized projects and by managing leads through your sales pipeline. 

You will be equipped with one of the best tech stacks available for your day to day as a Sales Development Representative and are expected to know the basic use of these tools to your advantage. We are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic and a proven track record of success in sales development.

NOTE : This role requires you to work in EST timezone.
NOTE : This role requires you to be in office 3x/week.

What you will do 

  • You will Conduct thorough internet research using tools like Linkedin Sales Navigator, Zoom Info, Apollo, Lusha, Cognism & Easy Leadz to build databases and enrich existing ones

  • You will also make use of scraping tools such as Phantom Buster among few others to scrape data off of websites as a part of TAM enrichment projects

  • You’re expected to make use of Linked Sales Insights [ LSI ] to help keep our SalesForce Accounts and Contacts up-to date

  • Your  proficiency in the use of Excel will help get through your day to day juggling between mission critical marketing projects

  • Your projects will require you to learn about companies, validate existing information sourced from data vendors, add new accounts & contacts when building a new list altogether

  • Your research skills will help you identify buying flags that you will make use of in enriching existing databases

  • You will be responsible to create the known universe of fully qualified & vetted accounts that will be used by marketing for global outreaches that directly impacts the revenue of the sales org

  • You’re expected to be proficient in both verbal and written business communication in English to be successful in your role as you progress through your career here at Rippling in a customer facing role

What you will need

  • At least 1 year of experience as an SDR with hands on experience of using prospecting tools to build and enrich databases 

  • A Bachelor’s or Master's degree in computer science, information technology, or experience relevant to the role

  • Proficiency in the use of tools such as Excel, Salesforce, Linkedin Sales Navigator, Zoominfo, Apollo & Outreach 

  • Excellent Research skills using google and the above tech stack

  • A growth mindset to thrive in a fast paced environment, ask the right questions and receive feedback 

  • Experience in customer interfacing role as a sales prospector is a plus

  • Ability to work diligently on repetitive tasks while maintaining urgency and accuracy at the same time
