About the Role


You’ll be part of the Travel team, helping to define the future of corporate travel through the Rippling Platform’s integrated solutions. As part of Rippling’s Spend Suite—which also includes corporate cards, expense management, procurement, and bill pay—the Travel team is integral to our all-in-one solution for managing corporate spending.

Our customers value the seamless integration of corporate cards, expense management, and accounting automation, with travel management as the next frontier. Our mission is to build the best travel management platform for employees, finance teams, and travel managers alike. Currently in its alpha phase, the travel product is set to launch in 2025.

What You Will Do:

  • Design and develop scalable frameworks that support payroll operations across multiple countries.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and other engineering teams (Frontend, UX, etc.) to maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
  • Take ownership of critical features, solving high-complexity technical problems.
  • Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and architecture discussions.
  • Mentor Junior Engineers to help them grow in their technical responsibilities and autonomy.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of professional work experience in a high-paced environment.
  • Experience building large-scale platforms for web applications.
  • Proficiency in working with MongoDB.
  • Strong CS fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
  • Ability to debug and resolve issues autonomously.
  • Bonus points if you have experience in building front-end applications.
