About the role

We are looking to hire a Compensation & People Data Analyst to join our growing team at Rippling. You will play a key role in implementing and managing our compensation programs and work on people analytics.

This position will be based in our San Francisco or New York office.

What you will do
  • Salary Surveys and Analysis:
    • Conduct regular salary surveys to gather market data and ensure Rippling's compensation packages remain competitive.
    • Analyze survey data to make informed recommendations on salary, equity ranges, and other compensation-related matters.
    • Timely updating of the Rippling’s compensation bands software, provide feedback to product team
  • Programs and Administration:
    • Partner with various stakeholders to drive compensation work streams such as
    • Reviewing offer recommendations in-line with our philosophy
    • Evaluate roles based on job responsibilities, market data, and ensure our bands are competitive in the market.
    • Be an active user of the Compensation bands tool; provide continuous feedback on Product enhancements.
    • Work on key work streams in the annual compensation review process, such as benchmarking, salary  and equity modeling, any other ad hoc analysis.
    • Setup people analytics
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
    • Analyze people-related data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform HR strategies and initiatives.
    • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for HR processes.
    • Create visually compelling and easy-to-understand dashboards to communicate data-driven insights to stakeholders.
    • Prepare and deliver regular and ad-hoc reports to support HR and leadership decision-making.
What you will need
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
  • 3-4 years of experience as a Compensation Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
  • Strong understanding of compensation principles, market trends, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in using compensation survey tools (i.e., Radford) and data analytics software.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.

126,000 - 157,500 USD per year (SF/NY)

113,000 - 141,750 USD per year (Austin)
