GTM Lead, UK&I

About Rippling

Rippling gives businesses one place to run HR, IT, and Finance. It brings together all of the workforce systems that are normally scattered across a company, like payroll, expenses, benefits, and computers. For the first time ever, you can manage and automate every part of the employee lifecycle in a single system.

Take onboarding, for example. With Rippling, you can hire a new employee anywhere in the world and set up their payroll, corporate card, computer, benefits, and even third-party apps like Slack and Microsoft 365—all within 90 seconds.

Based in San Francisco, CA, Rippling has raised $1.2B from the world’s top investors—including Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, Sequoia, Greenoaks, and Bedrock—and was named one of America's best startup employers by Forbes.

We prioritize candidate safety. Please be aware that all official communication will only be sent from addresses.

About the role

After becoming one of the fastest growing startups in the United States ($0 → $11B) Rippling is setting its sights on EMEA. That’s where you come in.

We’re looking for a marketing leader with a GM and founder’s mindset to lead our Go-to-Market, product marketing, and campaign efforts for UK&I. You’ll gather and analyze market insights to ensure we build the right products, tell the right stories, and target the right segments. You’ll partner closely with our sales, growth, and product teams.

This role is based in our Dublin or London office (Hybrid model- 3 days per week in office)

What you'll do

  • Own the end-to-end marketing strategy, execution, and performance for UK&I. You’ll determine the right strategy to find and win early adopters, then turn them into champions.
Conduct deep customer research and synthesize insights about our target audiences, personas, and where we win.
  • Develop GTM fundamentals including messaging, positioning, and more, grounded on a strategic understanding of what will have the biggest impact on our win rates
  • Own content and campaign strategy and execution with collaboration from partners in Sales, Growth, and Marketing Operations
  • Equip our growth and sales teams with the tools they need to win: sales decks, customer references, web pages, competitive intelligence, etc.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple teams to execute complex cross-functional initiatives that move the business forward.
  • Build a playbook for UK&I that can be translated more broadly in EMEA.  We have big ambitions in the region, and you will be in the driver’s seat.
  • Roll up your sleeves as we build from 0>1 and beyond. We have a lot to do with a lean team in EMEA.

  • Understanding of culture and buying habits in UK&I, and preferably EMEA in general. We’ll need you to focus on the UK and Ireland right away, and so you’ll need to understand these markets. As we scale, you will also have the opportunity to support and lead additional EMEA markets, so experience beyond UK&I is a bonus.
  • Fluent in English, bonus if you know German.
  • 7+ years of experience in consulting, business operations, general management, product, or product marketing. B2B marketing experience is strongly preferred.
  • A hacker’s mentality. You obsess over finding novel ways to hit goals—even when the conventional wisdom says you’re wrong.
  • Extreme autonomy and ownership. We’ll expect you to take the initiative to make our marketing and sales work in UK&I.
  • Strong attention to detail. You can dive into the weeds and pick up on the seemingly small, yet important, details.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. You’ll regularly communicate directly with executives and other senior leaders.
  • Bias for speed. We move very quickly, and will expect you to set a similar pace for your team.
