Director of Growth - International & Global Products

About Rippling

Rippling gives businesses one place to run HR, IT, and Finance. It brings together all of the workforce systems that are normally scattered across a company, like payroll, expenses, benefits, and computers. For the first time ever, you can manage and automate every part of the employee lifecycle in a single system.

Take onboarding, for example. With Rippling, you can hire a new employee anywhere in the world and set up their payroll, corporate card, computer, benefits, and even third-party apps like Slack and Microsoft 365—all within 90 seconds.

Based in San Francisco, CA, Rippling has raised $1.2B from the world’s top investors—including Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, Sequoia, Greenoaks, and Bedrock—and was named one of America's best startup employers by Forbes.

About the role

Rippling is one of the fastest growing startups on the planet ($0 → $17B). And, despite what our scale suggests, we’re just getting started. Between scaling our current business, expanding into new products, and more, we have a multi-billion dollar opportunity in front of us.

As the Director of Growth, International & Global Products, you’ll own the full-funnel growth engine across all of our international markets (which includes our Global products in the US). This includes generating high-quality sales pipeline efficiently and driving awareness and demos across regions where Rippling is still in its early innings. You’ll lead a team of growth marketers and channel strategists, experiment across every part of the funnel, and bring creative thinking to how we grow Rippling internationally.

This role reports to the VP of International & Global Marketing and is based 3 days a week in our San Francisco or New York offices.

What you will do

  • Own the number: You are accountable for hitting the Growth targets across all international regions and our U.S.-based Global Products segment. You’ll drive qualified pipeline through a combination of paid channels, outbound automation, website conversion, review sites, and more.
  • Build the engine for future growth: you'll use creativity and experimentation to improve existing channels, as well as validate new channels and new geographies, ensuring that Rippling's acquisition efforts continue to scale.
  • Run a multi-million dollar budget: You’ll allocate and optimize spend across channels and regions, testing aggressively and scaling what works to maximize pipeline efficiency.
  • Lead and scale a high-performing team: You’ll expand a team of international growth marketers, coaching them to own channels end-to-end.
  • Build the engine for Global Product growth: You’ll define the motion to scale our global products like Global HRIS, Payroll, Contractors and EOR, with a mix of performance and PLG-style campaigns.
  • Innovate with AI and automation: From outbound automation to ad creative generation, you’ll find cutting-edge ways to integrate AI into every part of the growth stack.
  • Maximize web conversion: You’ll continuously optimize Rippling’s international website experience, surfacing the right content, in the right language, to the right persona at the right time.
  • Partner cross-functionally: You’ll work closely with our regional sales leaders, marketing operations, brand, PMM, and analytics teams to ensure tight coordination. You'll lead efforts to evaluate ROI / success and report out on campaign and channel performance.

What you will need

  • 7–10+ years of experience in growth or performance marketing, with a demonstrable track record of hitting ambitious targets in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience managing and scaling large paid marketing budgets across multiple regions and channels (SEM, Meta, LinkedIn, review sites, outbound, etc.). Deep experience in one or more of the following channels is a plus - SEM, LinkedIn, outbound email.
  • A global mindset—you understand that tactics that work in the U.S. don’t always work elsewhere, and you’re energized by localizing for different markets. Experience in international marketing is a plus.
  • Proven leadership experience, building and managing high-performing teams
  • Analytical rigor—you’re comfortable digging into SQL, building your own dashboards, and optimizing against conversion metrics at every stage of the funnel
  • Strategic ownership mentality—you proactively drive strategy, not just execution
  • A strong point of view on using AI, automation, and novel hacks to unlock new growth
  • Experience partnering with sales, PMM, and marketing ops to align pipeline goals
  • Bonus: Experience marketing to Finance, HR, or IT buyers; B2B SaaS
