About the role


After the redesign in 2019, the Rippling Brand has become a huge asset and differentiator for the company. Our Brand team has earned the respect of stakeholders at every level. As such, we are responsible for stewarding the Rippling brand with craft and care in every touchpoint. 


We are looking for a Senior Video Editor to play a pivotal role in shaping the visual narrative of our brand, bringing our product to life through engaging and high-quality video content. You will collaborate closely with various teams to produce a wide range of videos. Your keen eye for detail and creative flair will be crucial in ensuring that each video aligns with our brand's voice.

This role will be based in our San Francisco office and will require being in office 3x/week. 



What you will do

  • Be the go-to person for all editing needs on a growing creative team.
  • Create a wide array of videos, including product demos, customer testimonials, educational tutorials, event recaps, user generated content, and promotional materials.
  • Support our Social Media Team with quick turnaround edits during live events.
  • Help solidify our brand’s position as an industry leader by creating robust customer stories and interviews. 
  • Produce videos for a wide range of mediums including web, social, digital advertising, and product.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of designers (including motion designers) and videographers to bring our visual stories to life.
  • Function as a post-production Swiss Army Knife, bringing your skillset of editing, sound design, color correction, and delivery/file management.
  • Aid in the production of basic motion graphics assets and assist in updating motion graphics templates for various projects.

What you will need

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience working in the tech/SaaS field.
  • Deep understanding of the editing and video pipeline.
  • Ability to self-guide and project manage with minimal direction.
  • Good communication skills and ability to embrace feedback and pivot accordingly.
  • Proficiency in Adobe CS (primarily Premiere and After Effects), Figma, Asana, Google Workspace, Slack, and Lottie.
