About the role

We’re seeking a Product GTM Manager (Narrative) to support the development and delivery of a clear, compelling product narrative that aligns with our customers’ needs and helps drive product adoption.

For Rippling to realize its growth and product ambitions, we must ensure customers stay informed about our rapid pace of innovation, understand the value of our unified platform, and know how to access more functionality. Our goal is for all customers to fully "Run on Rippling" across their people, spend, and technology functions—and this role plays a key part in making that vision a reality.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative communicator to help build a calendar of marketing moments that showcase our product innovation and align with customer and lifecycle marketing initiatives.

Our ideal candidate is passionate about Rippling’s core thesis—that software is built better when multiple applications are natively integrated into a single system. They have strong storytelling skills, thrive in cross-functional collaboration, and are comfortable working in fast-paced, innovative environments.

This role must be located in either our SF or NYC office.

What you will do

  • Support Product Roadmap Narrative:
    • Create visibility and alignment for our overall product roadmap, narrative, and release marketing moments.
    • Craft clear, multi-product stories that resonate with customers.
  • Product Release Marketing:
    • Coordinate with GTM leads and brand to develop our monthly product newsletter
    • Contribute to quarterly marketing events and moments to highlight Rippling’s product innovations.
    • Assist in announcing new products, sharing updates on upcoming features, and providing tools and content to help customers maximize efficiency.
  • Customer Event Narrative:
    • Use company and product positioning to craft a compelling narrative that ties our customer events together.
    • Ensure content creators and presenters adopt and use the right positioning and messaging throughout presentations and follow-up materials.

What you will need

  • 3+ years of experience in product marketing, content marketing, lifecycle marketing, or a related field. Experience working with B2B SaaS products is a plus.
  • Strong storytelling ability—you can craft compelling narratives that connect with customer needs, simplify complex ideas, and showcase product value.
  • Hands-on approach to product marketing—you enjoy deeply understanding the product and working cross-functionally to communicate its value effectively.
  • Experience executing product release marketing—whether through newsletters, feature announcements, or customer updates, you know how to inform and engage audiences about new product innovations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills—you can distill complex technical and business concepts into clear, engaging, and concise messaging.
  • Ability to collaborate and influence without authority—you work well with PMs, sales, brand, and lifecycle teams to align messaging across channels.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment—you can juggle multiple priorities, adjust to shifting timelines, and find creative solutions under pressure.
  • Analytical mindset—you use customer insights and product data to refine messaging and improve engagement (experience with marketing analytics tools or Excel is a plus).
  • Growth mindset & willingness to learn—you’re excited about the opportunity to grow your expertise in GTM strategy and product positioning.

A variety of factors are considered when determining someone’s compensation–including a candidate’s professional background, experience, and location. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed below.

The pay range for this role is:

102,000 - 178,500 USD per year (US Tier 1)
