About The Role
The Platform Organization works on building the building blocks that are used by other teams at Rippling to create advanced HR applications at high velocity. We are composed of hardworking, forward-thinking engineers who develop software to make Rippling fast, secure, reliable, and available to its customers.
As part of the Core Services team, you will diagnose, and tackle complex distributed systems problems and provide solutions that have a fundamental impact at a massive scale. You will define and deliver services that enable engineers to build reliable and efficient products and services. We are starting a green field project, Search Platform. The search platform will provide a unified and standardized way for 20+ Rippling products to make their data searchable. We are looking for the founding engineer to seed this team, where they get a great opportunity to build something extremely impactful from scratch.
This is a unique opportunity to work on both product and platform layers at the same time. We obsess over the scalability and extensibility of platform solutions, ensuring that solutions will meet the needs across the breadth of Rippling's product suite, along with the applications of tomorrow.
- 8+ years of professional work experience.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience in building projects with good abstractions and architecture.
- Comfortable with developing scalable and extendable core services used in many products.
