About the role

You will join the team building Rippling’s Performance Management product suite. We are nimble and excited by the potential impact of our work. Our products help employees set career goals, exchange feedback, and gain rewards & recognition for their achievements. You will launch new features for our scaled products as well as help build new products to expand the suite.

As the hub of employee data, Rippling has an incredible opportunity to build magical tools for career development. Our products use a deep understanding of each employee to surface relevant feedback and help synthesize action items for employees, their managers, and the company. In this role, you will play a critical role crafting these experiences and scaling them to millions of people.


What you will do
  • Work closely with product managers and designers to build delightful user experiences

  • Own the technical design of major components in our frontend codebase

  • Work closely with other engineers on the team to develop scalable, fault-tolerant systems

  • Produce quality software that is shipped incrementally and continually at a high velocity

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to plan and deliver a high quality product to market

  • Interact with early customers and support them in being successful with new launches


What you will need
  • 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Experience building well-tested, composable frontend components, React experience preferred

  • Experience with backend systems operating at a significant technical and organizational scale

  • Care for the end user experience (polish, usability, accessibility, performance)

A variety of factors are considered when determining someone’s compensation–including a candidate’s professional background, experience, and location. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed below.

The pay range for this role is:

135,000 - 236,259 USD per year (Tier 1)
