About RiskExec
RiskExec is a rapidly growing SaaS company that delivers a best-in-class compliance analytics and reporting platform to help financial institutions and lenders comply with key government regulations and unlock new growth opportunities.
Working at RiskExec
At RiskExec, we’re building a world class Compliance and Business Intelligence Platform trusted by regulated financial institutions including banks, credit unions, and fintech lenders. We help our clients confidently navigate complex regulatory requirements while achieving business growth. Our high-performing team thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that requires maximum professionalism, flexibility, and responsiveness. We value driven individuals who embrace ownership and accountability, excel at collaborating closely with teammates, and dedicate themselves fully to delivering exceptional outcomes. As an entrepreneurial organization, the demands of our business don’t always fit into a “traditional 9-5” schedule.
The Opportunity
Our customers are demanding deeper Fair Lending/Fair Servicing/Redlining capability, faster time-to-insight, and audit-ready outputs—and we must ship product that wins in the market while reducing delivery friction across onboarding, adoption, and renewals.
You will be the accountable product leader for this product suite. You will set direction, convert customer/regulatory reality into shipped capability, and drive measurable outcomes: adoption, retention, expansion, and margin improvement.
We are prioritizing candidates in the Washington, DC, Chicago, and Knoxville areas. We will consider candidates based in the United States (remote) ET and CT time zones.
What You Will Do
You own results for the assigned product suite—end-to-end.
- Product strategy and roadmap for Fair Lending, Fair Servicing, and Redlining: priorities, sequencing, tradeoffs, and de-scoping.
- Customer outcomes and adoption: measurable improvement in customer value realization (usage, workflow completion, time-to-insight, renewal health).
- Commercial leverage: packaging inputs, value proof, and product-led expansion drivers for Sales and Customer Success including thought-leadership blogposts, webinars and other outreach efforts.
- Voice-of-customer system: structured intake across Sales/CS/Support, synthesis into decisions, and closed-loop communication back to customers.
- Competitive position: clear differentiation, feature parity decisions, and fast response to market threats.
- Quality and trust: compliance-grade product behavior, defensible outputs, and release readiness standards.
- Enablement for scale: repeatable onboarding/training assets and self-serve workflows that reduce services burden over time.
Explicit boundaries: You are accountable for what we build and why it wins. Engineering owns how it’s built. You will collaborate with the devops team to “support” delivery—you drive outcomes and hold partners to commitments.
How You Will Drive Impact
This is a high-output operator role. You will run a rigorous product cadence and ship.
Operating cadence
- Weekly product execution review with Engineering: scope lock, risks, dependencies, release readiness.
- Bi-weekly customer discovery and validation: live workflow observation, win/loss signals, and adoption friction audits.
- Monthly suite business review: adoption, retention risk, roadmap progress, services load, and revenue impact.
- Quarterly strategy refresh: market shifts, regulatory changes, competitive moves, and portfolio reallocation.
Decision-making authority
- Final call with management input on priority order, MVP definitions, and what we stop doing.
- Escalation owner for conflicts between customer urgency, technical constraints, and commercial pressure.
- Authority to redirect roadmap with management input based on evidence (usage data, renewal risk, regulatory shifts).
What you’ll measure (and be measured by)
- Roadmap throughput and predictability: cycle time, release hit rate, shipped/quarter.
- Adoption: active usage, workflow completion, feature engagement of shipped capabilities.
- Retention/expansion impact: renewal health, churn risk reduction, attach/cross-sell contribution.
- Services deflection: reduced implementation effort and fewer bespoke engagements required to succeed.
- Customer trust: defect rate, severity, audit findings tied to product outputs, customer escalation volume.
Cross-Functional & Executive Interfaces
You will work directly with executives and own the product narrative.
- CEO / Exec team: suite strategy, investment asks, and progress reporting tied to business outcomes.
- CTO / Engineering leadership: delivery commitments, quality bar, platform constraints, sequencing.
- Sales leadership: product packaging input, deal-critical roadmap decisions, objections, competitive positioning.
- Customer Success / Support: adoption friction, renewal risks, support trends, implementation scalability.
- Marketing: messaging truth, launches, proof points, webinars—driven by shipped value.
- Regulatory/SME stakeholders: interpretation, defensibility, and correctness in regulated outputs.
Expect tension. Your job is to surface tradeoffs early and force decisions—not to absorb ambiguity.
Qualifications

- Executive-grade communication: concise, direct, and comfortable defending tradeoffs.
Preferred
- PE-backed operating cadence experience.
- Experience scaling products from services-heavy implementations toward repeatable, self-serve onboarding.
- Experience shipping AI-assisted analytics or automation features in regulated contexts (auditable, explainable outputs).
Skills & Attributes

- Systems thinker: sees interactions across onboarding, data quality, model assumptions, reporting outputs, and audit risk.
- Commercially fluent: knows what moves renewals and expansion; designs for value realization.
