About the Role

Job Title: Bid and Framework Manager

Location: Riskhub Offices, Clerkenwell, London

Reports to: Director of Fire Safety Engineering

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week

Salary Range: Competitive salary dependent on experience

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Bid Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, managing and securing new business opportunities through the preparation and submission of high-quality bids, tenders and framework applications. You will play a crucial role in expanding our client base within the built environment and housing sectors, whilst maintaining and developing relationships with existing clients and framework providers.




Summary of Position:


The Bid and Framework Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end management of bid and tender processes, from initial opportunity identification through to contract award. This role requires strategic thinking to forecast upcoming opportunities, exceptional writing and presentation skills to prepare compelling submissions, and strong relationship management capabilities to maintain client and framework provider relationships.


The successful candidate will spend significant time on business development activities, working closely with technical teams to ensure our solutions are positioned effectively in the marketplace.


Primary Responsibilities: 

Bid and Tender Management

  • Lead the preparation and submission of high-quality bids, tenders and framework applications
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to gather technical content, case studies and supporting documentation
  • Ensure all submissions comply with procurement requirements and are submitted within specified timescales

Framework Management

  • Act as primary point of contact for framework providers and procurement organisations
  • Monitor performance against framework KPIs and compliance requirements
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of framework terms, conditions and call-off procedures

 Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-4 years experience in bid management, business development or similar role
  • Proven track record of successful bid and tender submissions
  • Experience working with public sector frameworks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to produce compelling content
  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously
  • Experience in the built environment, housing or compliance sectors
  • Proficient in MS Office suite, CRM systems and online procurement portals
  • Understanding of public procurement regulations and processes


Desirable Requirements:

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Experience with housing associations, local authorities or property management companies
  • Experience using specific procurement platforms (Delta eSourcing, Jaggaer, etc.)
  • Previous experience in a technology or SaaS environment

Interview process


Our goal is to keep the interview process simple to keep you engaged, but thorough enough to help us each understand if we're a good fit for each other.


This is what the process will look like for this role:


30-60min initial meeting: to get to know each other with the Directors of the business to discuss your background and past experiences – so that we can understand if your skills and expertise match what we're looking for


Second stage: interview including a presentation exercise to demonstrate your approach to a typical bid scenario


Throughout the process we'll give you insights into Riskhub, our current product suite and vision for the future. We welcome any questions as we want to make sure you're joining a team and company you'll be excited to be part of.
