About the role
Ritual is seeking a data-informed and creatively driven Creative Strategist to join our Growth team. In this role, you’ll lead the development of performance-driven creative across paid media channels - from concepting and testing to analyzing and optimizing results. You’ll work at the intersection of growth, creativity, and strategy, using insights and experimentation to drive meaningful business impact.

This role combines strategic thinking with analytical curiosity - ideal for someone who’s as comfortable brainstorming creative concepts as they are diving into performance data.
You’ll report to the Director, Digital Marketing and Growth Creative and collaborate cross-functionally with teams including Creative, Brand, Customer Insights, Influencer, Affiliate, and Digital Product to produce work that inspires and performs.


What you'll do

  • Develop and scale high-performing creative by producing and iterating on ad concepts weekly, guided by audience insights, competitive research, and cultural trends.
  • Partner with internal and external creative teams to manage the production cycle - ensuring timely delivery, seamless execution, and continuous performance improvement.
  • Maintain a structured creative testing approach by experimenting, learning, and applying insights to future campaigns.
  • Analyze performance data to identify opportunities, highlight trends, and translate findings into actionable creative strategies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align creative direction with growth goals, ensuring consistency across channels and brand touchpoints.

What you'll need

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience - we welcome diverse educational and professional backgrounds.
  • Experience: 3–4 years in growth creative strategy, preferably within a DTC or e-commerce environment. Proven ability to concept, test, and scale high-performing ad creative across paid media channels.
  • Skills: Comfortable working across spreadsheets, storyboards, and creative dashboards to inform and communicate decisions.

Compensation

Pay Range:  $85,000 - $110,000

Your base salary is one part of your total compensation package. The salary range represents the entire compensation range for this position. Exact compensation will depend on a number of factors, which may include the successful candidate's skills, level, years of experience, technical expertise, and other qualifications. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. This role is also eligible for equity + generous benefits + 401k + unlimited PTO etc - see our list of perks/ benefits below.
