Paid Search Specialist

About Ritual

Ritual is a personal health brand that is raising the bar for daily wellness. Known for our best-selling, clinically backed prenatal, we create science-backed supplements with transparency at their core. We believe women deserve products they can trust, backed by real evidence—not just promises.

We started by reinventing the multivitamin with the first visible supply chain of its kind. Today, we’re expanding into new categories with the same high standards that built our reputation. Hundreds of thousands trust Ritual, and we’re growing fast.

Our team of 120+ scientists, creatives, and skeptics is raising the bar for women’s health. We’re venture-backed, based in sunny Los Angeles, and always looking for people ready to challenge the industry—and do the best work of their careers.

About the role

Ritual is seeking a Paid Search Specialist to help drive the expansion of our Paid Search portfolio. You’ll join our Growth Marketing team, which is focused on acquiring new customers efficiently and effectively. We’re looking for someone with a strong foundation in performance marketing—particularly search engine marketing—and a passion for optimization, creativity, and collaboration.

This role is ideal for someone with 2+ years of hands-on experience managing SEM campaigns across Google properties, including YouTube, who thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional environments and enjoys experimenting, learning, and iterating.

What you'll do

  • Lead the vision, strategy, testing, and execution of Ritual’s paid search channels—including Google Ads (across all properties, including YouTube) and support for SEO optimization.
  • Conduct keyword research, testing roadmaps, bidding strategies, and budget allocation to help hit or exceed performance goals.
  • Collaborate with teams across growth product, creative, and analytics to improve the effectiveness of paid search campaigns.
  • Partner on go-to-market strategies for new product launches, creative and channel expansion on YouTube, shopping feed testing and management, and SEO updates.
  • Analyze and report on key metrics, sharing insights with the growth team and broader organization.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging trends in search engine marketing and the digital marketing landscape.

Who you are

  • Experienced in Paid Search: You’ve scaled search channels before and are comfortable managing product feeds, Google Shopping, and YouTube campaigns.
  • Hands-On with Google Ads: You’re skilled in bid management, keyword targeting, and campaign optimization across search, shopping, and video. (Google Ads certification is a plus, but not required.)
  • Data-Informed: You use data to guide your strategy and enjoy building and refining tests that yield insights.
  • Action-Oriented: You’re comfortable translating strategy into execution, and you thrive on achieving measurable results.
  • Organized and Detail-Oriented: You approach your work with care and structure.
  • Creative Problem-Solver: You draw from multiple sources of insight to create and execute thoughtful, strategic solutions.
  • Collaborative: You communicate well and enjoy working with cross-functional partners in creative, brand, product, and analytics.

What you'll need

  • Education: A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is welcome—but not required. We value practical experience, learning, and growth just as highly.
  • Experience: 2+ years of hands-on paid search experience.
  • A growth mindset, comfort with data, and enthusiasm for both testing and scaling.
  • Familiarity with direct-to-consumer business models and performance marketing metrics.
  • A collaborative, team-first attitude.
