River Health Growth Manager (Employer/Broker Sales)

Location: Hybrid (2 Days in Office) / Minneapolis, MN

  • Open to exceptional remote candidates

Compensation: $75,000 – $85,000 annual base + variable performance bonus + equity

  • Uncapped commission in year 1  

Position Overview

As a Growth Manager, you’ll be the first point of contact with potential partners and clients. You’ll play a key role in generating and qualifying leads, building relationships, and fueling the growth of River Health’s sales pipeline. This position is ideal for someone who has an entrepreneurial and purpose-driven mindset to make a tangible impact in the healthcare benefits space. We are looking for a tech-forward, dynamic and driven hustler who thrives on executing results and scaling growth for our Minneapolis start-up.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Identify and research employers or brokers that align with River Health’s target industries, company size ranges, and benefit solutions for the hourly workforce. 2. Using tech-forward solutioning, leverage internal data tools and market insights to build targeted prospect lists and understand each organization’s structure and competitive landscape.
  2. Conduct personalized and/or automated outreach via email, LinkedIn, and phone calls to introduce River Health.
  3. Communicate River Health’s value proposition clearly and effectively to generate interest in a demo or discovery meeting.
  4. Assess prospects’ benefits structures, employee counts, renewal cycles, and current pain points to determine fit and readiness for River Health’s plans.
  5. Maintain an understanding of River Health’s offerings to confidently address high-level questions from prospects.
  6. Demo, qualify, and close opportunities for small & mid-tier customers (under 10,000 employees)
  7. Maintain accurate, detailed notes in the CRM (Attio).
  8. Track and report on outreach metrics, conversion rates, and performance across multiple channels.
  9. Work cross-functionally with Clinical Operations, Member Experience, and Product to provide client feedback.
  10. Contracting and Implementation of customer; including agreements, timeline alignment and launch readiness to customer success manager through an onboarding process. 

Qualifications

  • 3–7 years of experience in sales development, business development, or product marketing, ideally in B2B start-ups, technology or healthcare.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to engage confidently with decision-makers.
  • Experience with CRM tools and outreach platforms (e.g., Attio, Clay, Apollo, Vector LinkedIn Sales Navigator, others.).
  • Comfortable with high-volume outreach with both phone and email, and managing multiple priorities.
  • Curiosity and drive to learn about healthcare benefits and employer solutions.
  • Collaborative mindset with a passion for helping clients find better ways to deliver healthcare to their teams.
  • Ability to travel as needed to clients organizations, events, and conferences

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 annual base + variable performance bonus + equity
