Position Overview

As an ACA Health Plan Enrollment Specialist, you will assist hourly employees in reviewing their personal and income information, explaining available health plan options, and completing their ACA enrollment. You’ll ensure every client receives accurate, clear, and empathetic guidance while following HIPAA and ACA compliance procedures.

Key Responsibilities

· Handle inbound and outbound calls with employees regarding health plan enrollment.

· Verify caller identity using required demographic fields.

· Review and confirm employee demographic and income information.

· Explain available benefit plans, including supplemental and ACA marketplace options.

· Assist employees in making plan selections and completing the enrollment process via our secure platform.

· Document consent and enrollment details in our CRM system.

· Provide confirmation numbers and email follow-ups to employees.

· Maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant records.

· Escalate complex eligibility or technical cases to Tier 2 support when needed.

· Participate in ongoing training to stay current on ACA policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Required:

· 2+ years of customer service, benefits enrollment, or healthcare call center experience.

· Strong understanding of ACA marketplace enrollment processes.

· Excellent verbal communication skills.

· Proficiency with CRM systems and VoIP platforms.

· Ability to handle confidential information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

· Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace.

Preferred:

· Bilingual in English and Spanish.
