Position Summary: 


The Dispatcher is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a fleet of professional chauffeurs to ensure delivery of timely, reliable, and high-end transportation services. This role requires effective coordination of reservation scheduling, chauffeur dispatching, real-time route monitoring, and continuous communication with clients, chauffeurs, and internal teams. The Dispatcher plays a critical role in maintaining client satisfaction through operational efficiency and service excellence. 

 

Essential Job functions: 

  • Schedule and dispatch chauffeurs for client pickups and drop-offs based on reservations and real-time requests. 
  • Monitor chauffeur locations and trip progress using GPS and dispatch software to ensure on-time service. 
  • Ensure all trips are executed on time and in accordance with client expectations and company standards. 
  • Manage last-minute changes, cancellations, same-day reservations, and emergencies with professionalism and efficiency. 
  • Communicate with chauffeurs to provide trip details, updates, and support throughout their shifts. 
  • Confirm that all client reservations are disseminated and acknowledged by chauffeurs, ensuring accountability. 
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve client concerns promptly and professionally. 
  • Maintain accurate records of trips, client preferences, and chauffeur performance. 
  • Prepare and present comprehensive end-of-shift reports to ensure seamless transitions and operational continuity. 
  • Consistently communicate with Dispatch team members regarding operational changes, needs, or challenges. 
  • Coordinate with the Detail and Maintenance Departments to ensure fleet cleanliness, maintenance, and readiness. 
  • Manage workflows and collaborate with Dispatch colleagues to deliver flawless and timely service to all clients. 
  • Oversee daily chauffeur assignments, adjusting as needed to meet real-time demands. 

Requirements: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • 2 years of experience in dispatching, logistics, transportation coordination, or a related role. 
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make quick, effective decisions in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively manage challenges to maintain uninterrupted operations. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with all levels of management. 
  • Proficient in dispatch management systems, GPS tracking tools, and related software. 
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities. 
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-focused under pressure. 
  • Strong working knowledge of local geography, airport procedures, and traffic patterns. 

 Preferred Qualification

  • Ground transportation industry experience. 
  • Logistics and coordination experience.
