Commissioner Level I

 About the role
As a Traveling Wind Technician Level 1, you will play a critical role in ensuring optimal performance and maintenance of wind turbines across various sites. This position offers hands-on experience, career growth opportunities, and the chance to be part of a sustainable energy future while working with a team of industry experts. Travel is required, allowing you to explore different locations while making a lasting impact.

What You'll Do

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on wind turbines, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and manufacturer specifications.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components of GE wind turbines.
• Conduct inspections to identify wear and tear and recommend proactive maintenance strategies.
• Maintain accurate service records and ensure tools and equipment are in top working condition.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and team members to meet project timelines and safety standards.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Certifications: GE Tech Essentials, GE Maintenance, GE LOTO (preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work at heights exceeding 300 feet and in varying weather conditions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Flexibility to travel extensively and work in remote locations.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to OSHA standards.
