About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to join our team at our Houston headquarters. This role offers the opportunity to support core accounting functions, contribute to process improvement initiatives, and assist in preparing key financial deliverables. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is excited to wear multiple hats on a small, collaborative team.




What You’ll Do

  • Perform month-end and quarter-end close activities including journal entries and account reconciliations across multiple subsidiaries.
  • Analyze financial data using ERP and reporting tools to support income statement and balance sheet reviews.
  • Partner with external auditors during interim and annual audits by preparing PBC schedules and addressing audit inquiries.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Technology, Operations, and Procurement to validate financial results and ensure compliance with internal policies.
  • Prepare consolidation and elimination entries and ensure accurate reporting for all consolidated financial statements.
  • Maintain supporting documentation for annual disclosures and tie-out binders.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting support to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Support internal control practices and contribute to strengthening financial processes and compliance.




Qualifications / Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of professional accounting experience required.
  • Public accounting experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls (SOX knowledge a plus).
  • Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems is beneficial.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
  • Must be a self-starter with strong communication skills and high attention to detail.
  • Must be based in Houston; this is an in-office role with a hybrid schedule considered after 90 days.
