POSITION OVERVIEW
The Integration Consultant is a customer-facing specialist who supports data migration and integration education, assists with complex implementations, and helps develop reusable internal and external enablement assets. This role blends strong process and communication skills with a growing technical understanding of APIs, integrations, and customer data structures.
This position works closely with Data, Implementation, and Customer Success teams to ensure customers are set up for successful integrations and data migrations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer workshops and consultation
- Support and, over time, lead customer-facing data migration and integration workshops across Routeware products, helping guide customers through concepts, options, and best practices.
- Participate in discovery and design sessions to understand customer data models, integration needs, and constraints, and help translate these into clear implementation steps.
API, ESRI/GIS, and integration guidance
- Develop working knowledge of core product APIs and standard integrations and explain them in clear, customer-friendly language.
- Support discussions on integration approaches in partnership with Data and Delivery teams, helping customers understand tradeoffs, complexity, and risk.
Data quality and migration support
- Build expertise in data quality and migration concepts such as mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
- Assist delivery and data teams when customers encounter complex data, legacy systems, or non-standard integration scenarios, helping surface issues and escalate appropriately.
Reusable education and enablement
- Help design and build reusable education resources, including PowerPoint decks, video walkthroughs, FAQs, how-to guides, and customer playbooks for data migration and integrations.
- Contribute to standardizing and improving workshops, templates, and best practices to ensure consistent, high-quality guidance across teams.
Office hours and change management
- Participate in regular office hours for internal teams and customers, answering questions about data migration, integrations, and tooling.
- Support change management for new processes and tools by helping communicate updates, training teams, and collecting feedback.
Cross-functional partnership
- Partner closely with the Data team to align on migration approaches, tooling, and quality standards.
- Represent customer integration perspectives in cross-functional discussions and share recurring customer pain points or needs with Product and Data teams.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Foundational understanding of data migration concepts (mapping, transformation, validation, cutover, reconciliation) and common integration patterns.
- Ability to read and interpret API and integration documentation; comfortable discussing basic request/response structures, authentication, and error patterns with support from technical partners.
- Familiarity with ESRI/GIS data and spatial concepts preferred, or demonstrated aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to explain technical concepts in clear, customer-friendly terms.
- Experience facilitating or supporting workshops or meetings, including agenda preparation and stakeholder alignment.
- Process-oriented mindset with an interest in standardization, repeatability, and continuous improvement.
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product, data, implementation, and customer success teams in a fast-moving environment.

The pay range for this role is:
70,000 - 80,000 USD per year (Remote)
