POSITION OVERVIEW 

  • We are seeking for individuals who possess a problem-solving and growth mindset to join the SDR team. To be successful in the SDR role, you will need to be able to demonstrate both technical prospecting craft and relevant soft skills for generating sales opportunities for the team, and you are someone who can be "comfortable with the uncomfortable" of cold outreach beyond being just a strong communicator. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Research, plan, and conduct outbound & inbound prospecting activities on accounts within assigned territory to create and grow a pipeline of net-new prospects 
  • Qualify prospects and generate introductory meetings for the sales team 
  • Consistently meet or exceed SDR metrics on a monthly basis 
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to strategize on target accounts and ensure seamless handoff of qualified prospects 
  • Ensure that all account information relevant to the SDR process is accurate and up to date 

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce and Outreach platforms as a SDR or related roles 
  • Working knowledge of sales processes in a Saas environment 
  • Working knowledge of SDR qualification methodology 
  • Experience working with municipality entities or departments in a sales capacity (preferred) 
  • Waste and Recycling industry experience (preferred)
