ROXBOX Containers is on a mission to find a Finish/Carpenter Team Member to join our elite team of container-modifying beasts! We specialize in transforming ordinary shipping containers into extraordinary, custom-designed spaces, and we need a tech-savvy, process-optimizing, problem-annihilating machine to help us push the boundaries of what's possible.
 
In this role, you'll be:
 
- Interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to bring complex designs to life
- Optimizing our Finish/Carpentry processes to maximize efficiency and quality
- Collaborating with a team of skilled fabricators, welders, and designers
- Taking ownership of projects from start to finish, ensuring top-quality results
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Continuously learning and incorporating new techniques and technologies
 
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
 
- 2-4 years of experience in Carpentry, framing, and finishing work.
- Craft and install all construction elements following steel fabrication to create high-quality spaces in accordance with ROXBOX standards.
- Execute all aspects of finish work, including framing (metal and wood), drywall installation, countertop and cabinetry installation, trim work, flooring (epoxy, LVT, laminate) caulking, bodywork, and painting.
- Strong blueprint reading and technical drawing interpretation skills
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and optimization abilities
- A proactive, independent work style with a drive for continuous improvement
- The ability to handle and maneuver heavy materials (up to 50 pounds)
- A commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
 
Bonus points if you have:
 
- CFC, CR, LEED, NOCTI or NAHB certification 
- OSHA safety training 
- Experience with carpentry and forklift operation

The pay range for this role is:

20 - 26 USD per hour (Houston)
