POSITION: Sunday Morning Family Greeter
DEPARTMENT: Children's Ministry

HOURS WORKED: Works every Sunday Morning at our East Side 10:30am service. Total hours are usually 3-4 hours each Sunday. Arrival time: 9:00 am (Hours are subject to change).
SALARY: $22 - $22/hr
FLSA: non-exempt

Job Description:

Works alongside the Children's Ministry (CM) Team and Senior Early Education Coordinator to facilitate and support the growing needs of families at Redeemer.

Requirements:

• Checks with CM Senior Early Education Coordinator/Manager for any changes or announcements.
• Sets up CM check-in desk with necessary signage, sign-in sheets for staff/volunteers/parents & labels for nursery classrooms.
• Greets families at East side morning service at the check in table beginning at 10 am.
• Helps escorts children & parents to their appropriate classrooms at drop-off & pick-up time.
• Ensures that all children entering the classroom have security tags & for any new families have collected contact & allergy information.
• Looks out for families and is available to assist families with specific needs, concerns, and questions (ie bathrooms, stroller parking, crying baby room, children’s classrooms, etc.)
• Troubleshoots any issues that arise while Coordinator is away from the front desk.
• Assists nursery classrooms as needed.
• Contacts parents during worship service when needed & responds in the event of an emergency.
• During special events, is available to assist the CM staff team with various tasks.

• Must be a team player and have character qualities such as integrity, wisdom and good judgement.
• Able to handle multiple families & kids being dropped off prior to service & picked up after service.
