RSA is looking for a Principal or Senior SaaS Operations Engineer to join our Global SaaS Operations team. 

This is a role that combines product-focused operations with broad platform support. You will help operate and improve our SaaS platforms while also working across cloud governance, automation, and engineering support initiatives. 

This is not a traditional support role. 

You will be expected to take ownership of complex problems, work across teams, and help drive improvements in how we operate our cloud services at scale. 


What You’ll Do 

Operate and Support SaaS Platforms 

  • Own the day-to-day operation of production systems, ensuring reliability and availability  
  • Troubleshoot and resolve real-time production issues impacting customers
  •   Lead or contribute to incident response and post-incident analysis (RCA)  
  • Work beyond surface-level fixes to identify systemic improvements Work Across the Platform  
  • Contribute to cloud governance and operational standards 
  • Support cost optimization and FinOps initiatives 
  • Assist engineering teams with testing, validation, and deployments 
  • Take on cross-functional work that doesn’t fit neatly into one team 

Drive Automation and Efficiency 

  • Identify manual or repetitive processes and automate them  
  • Improve monitoring, alerting, and observability  
  • Build tools and scripts to improve operational scale and consistency 

Collaborate Across Teams

  • Work closely with Engineering, Cloud, and CI/CD teams
  • Partner with global teams across India and the US  
  • Provide input on how systems should be designed for operability and reliability  


What We’re Looking For 

Core Experience 

  • 8–10+ years (Senior) or 10-12+ years (Principal) in SaaS Operations, SRE or similar roles  
  • Proven experience supporting and operating production systems, not just building or deploying them  
  • Strong experience troubleshooting live, customer-facing applications in cloud environments (AWS and/or Azure)  
  • Deep Linux systems experience, including diagnosing system-level and application-level issues
  • Experience supporting cloud-based applications (AWS and/or Azure)  
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex production systems
  • Scripting or programming experience (Python, Bash, or similar) to support automation and operational efficiency

  • Comfortable working in fast-moving, sometimes ambiguous environments  
  • Strong ownership mindset and problem-solving ability  
  • Ability to balance planned work and real-time operational demands  
  • Effective collaboration across multiple teams and priorities  

Nice to Have 

  • Experience with Kubernetes or containerized environments  
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Datadog, Azure Monitor, ELK/OpenSearch
  •  Exposure to FinOps or cloud cost optimization  
  • Experience in regulated environments (FedRAMP, SOC2, PCI)  
  • Knowledge of identity and authentication technologies (SAML, federation

Additional Expectations 

  • Participate in an on-call rotation supporting production systems  
  • Work in a global team with some overlap with US time zones  
  • Ability to operate effectively in high-pressure situations
