About the role

The Senior Product Manager for the Unify product group at RudderStack will manage our Profiles product, including all related identity resolution and customer 360 features, including the code-based interfaces used by customers to build and manage their projects. This role involves building deep relationships with customers to understand their problems, owning the roadmap and execution of the product group as a whole, with the goal of creating both a streamlined customer 360 onramp as well as a flexible, powerful semantic modeling layer. The product experience should be crafted to deliver value quickly with low lift, but give developers the tools they need to address complex identity resolution and customer 360 problems, then build use cases on top of that data (including real-time access via API). Additionally, it is critical that these product experiences are deeply integrated into other parts of the RudderStack platform, including data collection, cataloging, governance, and activation.


RudderStack is a remote company, though we do have one office in the eastern US. This role needs to be in EST, but can be a remote role. If there is a desire to relocate to the East Coast Office, we will cover expenses.


What you'll do

  • Own the roadmap and execution for the Unify product group, including the automated customer 360 experience as well as the developer tooling and APIs for advanced builds and workflows.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to build a seamless, integrated customer 360 development experience.
  • Think creatively about how to more deeply integrate the Unify product group with other parts of the RudderStack platform.
  • Engage with customers to understand both their ultimate goals for solving identity resolution and building a customer 360, as well as their specific challenges with DIY projects and packaged SaaS platforms.
  • Lead the Unify product innovation, strategy, and execution to enhance the customer data platform experience.
  • Work closely with engineering and design teams across time zones to deliver high-quality products.
  • Own the enablement and launch inputs for every feature you ship (and the roadmap as a whole) in support of and in partnership with Product Marketing.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of directly applicable product management experience at either a B2B SaaS startup company or as the owner of an internal build. This specifically includes experience with SQL-based products, semantic modeling, and customer 360 use cases.
  • Experience owning a roadmap across multiple related products.
  • Experience working with teams across time zones, especially engineering teams, and shipping work using agile methodologies.
  • Deep technical knowledge, including the ability to understand and troubleshoot the product and have technical conversations with Engineering Managers.
  • Experience managing products and people at a successful startup company (Series C+).
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, specifically with regard to enablement and product launch materials.
  • Excellent customer-facing and research skills.
