About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented, entry-level Data Quality Analyst to support the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of our data. In this role, you will work with structured data sets to clean, label, validate, and document data before it is used in downstream systems, analytics, or reporting tools. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a foundation in data operations, analytics, or data engineering.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ingest and clean raw data using predefined rules and processes
• Label and annotate data according to written guidelines and standards
• Perform routine data quality checks for completeness, duplicates, and basic consistency
• Verify and validate data prior to its release into downstream pipelines or tools
• Identify, document, and log data quality issues with clear examples
• Escalate data issues appropriately when standards are not met or guidance is unclear
• Maintain and update basic data dictionaries, metadata, and labeling instructions
• Follow detailed procedures consistently to ensure repeatable, high-quality outputs

Who You Are

• Foundational SQL skills, including the ability to write simple queries to:

• • Select and filter data
  • Join tables
  • Perform basic aggregations
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English, both written and verbal.

• Comfort working with structured data formats such as tables and CSV files
• Strong attention to detail, especially when performing repetitive or process-driven tasks
• Ability to follow detailed written instructions and apply them consistently
• Clear written communication skills to describe data issues and observations
• Basic understanding of data quality concepts (accuracy, completeness, consistency)

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Exposure to data validation, data labeling, or data operations work
• Familiarity with spreadsheets or basic data tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets)
• Interest in data analytics, data engineering, or data governance as a career path
• Experience with Python and/or JavaScript
