About the role


We are looking for an experienced Infor WMS Project Manager with over 9+ years of expertise to lead and manage the end-to-end implementation of Infor Warehouse Management System (WMS) projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering complex WMS projects, overseeing project timelines, budgets, resources, and managing cross-functional teams to ensure successful system deployment and optimization



What you'll do

  • Lead and manage the overall execution of Infor WMS projects from initiation through go-live and post- implementation support, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Develop detailed project plans that include milestones, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. Ensure that all project activities are tracked and aligned with project goals.
  • Manage communication with stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are understood and met. Keep senior leadership informed about project progress, risks, and issues.
  • Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams, including functional consultants, technical specialists, business users, and third-party vendors, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, including technical, operational, and business-related risks. Develop contingency plans as necessary to address unforeseen issues.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular status updates, progress reports, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure that the project meets all quality standards, including system functionality, data accuracy, and user satisfaction. Perform regular quality checks to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Oversee the configuration and deployment of Infor WMS solutions, ensuring that all requirements are met, and the system is tailored to the client’s specific operational needs.
  • Supervise the development of training materials and oversee the training of end-users to ensure the successful adoption of the Infor WMS system.
  • Ensure thorough testing (unit testing, integration testing, UAT) of the WMS solution, working with technical teams to validate system functionality.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and improvement throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that the implemented WMS solution supports long-term business goals.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the project, using these metrics to gauge success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage the formal closure of the project, ensuring that all deliverables have been met, the client is satisfied, and all project documentation is handed over for ongoing support.
  • Ensure the WMS project complies with industry regulations, data security standards, and any other legal or compliance requirements relevant to the business.

Qualifications

  • 9 or more years of experience in project management, specifically with Infor WMS or similar warehouse management systems (SAP EWM, Manhattan, etc.).
  • Proven experience in managing complex WMS implementations from initiation to go-live.
  • Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and tools (Jira, MS Project, etc.).
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with clients and senior leadership.
  • Deep understanding of warehouse operations (inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, picking, etc.).
  • Experience with system integration and managing relationships with third-party vendors.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and risk management abilities.
  • Strong budget management and resource allocation skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certifications are highly desirable.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and integration practices.
