Job Summary:

S3 Group Inc. is seeking a motivated and eager Summer Sales Intern to support our business development efforts within the supply chain consulting and professional services sector. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of B2B sales, working alongside our sales team to contribute to lead generation, prospect research, and sales support activities. The ideal candidate will be a proactive student with strong communication skills and an interest in sales and technology.


Duration: 10 Weeks (Start date: May/22/2025 End date: Aug/01/2025)

Schedule: Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week (e.g., 5 hours/day, 4 days/week - specific days/hours can be flexible)

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect Research: Conduct research to identify potential target companies and key contacts within the logistics and supply chain industry.
  • Lead Generation Support: Assist with outreach efforts, potentially including email campaigns and LinkedIn outreach under supervision.
  • CRM Data Management: Help maintain and update prospect and client information in our CRM system.
  • Sales Material Support: Assist in the organization and preparation of sales materials, presentations, and proposals.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct basic research on market trends and competitor activities.
  • Sales Team Support: Provide administrative and logistical support to the sales team as needed.
  • Learning and Development: Actively participate in learning opportunities about the sales process and S3 Group's service offerings.
  • Shadowing and Observation: Observe sales meetings and calls to gain insight into the sales cycle.


Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in sales and the technology or consulting industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good research and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn is a plus.
  • Proactive and eager to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
