Job Overview:

 

Are you energetic, ambitious, and looking to develop your career? Our Cape Town Sable Wealth department is looking to add a full-time Wealth Administrator to their team. We offer a dynamic and challenging environment where we achieve our business objectives and have fun doing it.


We are looking for someone with experience in the IFA (Independent Financial Adviser) space who is passionate about delivering exceptional administrative support to our advisers and paraplanners.

You’re perfect for this position if you:

  • Have at least 2 years of experience working as a Wealth Administrator within the IFA environment
  • Have a qualification in finance, investments, and/or banking, along with at least 3 years’ experience in an administrative, insurance, investment, or banking environment, and hold a relevant foundational financial certificate (e.g. Allan Gray Academy, Sanlam Moonstone, Milpark, NQF5, or equivalent).
  • Are highly detail-oriented with strong organisational and follow-up skills
  • Thrive in a structured and closely managed environment and view micro-management as an opportunity to learn and improve
  • Have a background in a regulated environment with knowledge of FICA and FAIS
  • Are deadline-driven and able to meet targets while delivering work of the highest standard
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have experience working with Microsoft Office platforms
  • Are numbers-orientated, honest and ethical


Extra points if you have:

  • Paraplanning experience
  • Experience in the offshore environment
  • A talent for adopting and using new systems
  • Experience in international regulatory environments (e.g. UK, EU, USA)

Your role and responsibilities:

Among other tasks, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Adviser and paraplanner support: Provide administrative support to our financial advisers and paraplanners across the EU, UK, and South Africa
  • Investment administration: Process client applications, follow-ups, and amendments across various investment platforms, communicating via phone and email
  • Compliance: Ensure that all client files and transactions comply with internal and regulatory requirements
  • Client servicing: Assist with client queries, servicing, and general administration requirements
